Rebecca Louguon – Liberia

Area Director

Rebecca met Jesus at age ten, and was baptized seven years later at the church where her father was a deacon. As Rebecca grew older, she married and had two children. However, her husband came down with a severe illness and was sick for ten years before passing away. As a single parent, Rebecca struggled to meet her family’s spiritual and physical needs. During this time, her family members neglected her, but God was with her. She was faithful and committed to doing God’s work, and God began to bless and favor her. Rebecca remarried, and says she is now one of the most happiest mothers and wives again. Rebecca got involved with Young Life through James Davis in 2003, who encouraged her to be a part of the ministry. Rebecca is currently an area director in a town called Paynesville, which is outside the capital city of Monrovia. She supervises five clubs and is also the senior women’s leader in Liberia.
