Rabat (May 4–7)
STORY Rabat Le Carrousel
A refined 4-star seaside hotel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the host venue for the Africa GLC. This property provides an ideal setting for conference participation, staff engagement, and exploring Morocco’s capital city.
Fès (May 7–10)
Hotel Sahrai
A 5-star luxury resort perched on a scenic hillside above the historic Medina. Hotel Sahrai will serve as our base as we explore one of Morocco’s most storied cities and experience Young Life ministry in a North African context.
Itinerary

Arrival & GLC Welcome
Arrive in Rabat or Casablanca and gather for the opening of the Africa GLC.
GLC & Coastal Experience
Participate in GLC sessions, followed by a coastal dinner overlooking the Atlantic.
i100 Graduation Celebration
A celebratory day concluding with the i100 Graduation Ceremony and group dinner.
Journey to Fès
Travel inland through Volubilis and Meknès. Evening arrival in historic Fès.
Fès Medina & Ministry
Explore the Medina and engage with ministry leaders in their own context.
Young Life Celebration
A final day of stories, music, and celebration at a local Young Life Center.
Departure
Morning transfers to Rabat or Casablanca for departures.
What Is the Africa GLC?
Each year, senior Young Life staff from around the world gather for a mission-wide event called the Global Leadership Conference (GLC). As Young Life’s international footprint has expanded, these gatherings have evolved into regional conferences—connected by shared teaching, worship, and vision.
In 2026, Young Life staff from across Africa and the Middle East will gather in Rabat, Morocco for several days of worship, prayer, planning, and the signature Young Life fellowship that makes you feel right at home.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to come alongside the men and women leading this Gospel movement—and to see behind the scenes as they navigate ministry in one of the most dynamic regions in the world.

Josh Powell serves as Vice President of Global Development for Young Life, where he partners with leaders and donors to advance Young Life’s mission around the world. With extensive experience in international ministry and leadership development, Josh is passionate about connecting Partners in Ministry to the people, stories, and places where God is at work.
Josh has lived and traveled extensively internationally and brings a deep familiarity and love for our global work, its leaders, and the transformative power of the Gospel. He will host and guide this journey, creating intentional space for meaningful relationships and vision.
Cost and Participation

This investment supports lodging, most meals, transportation, guided experiences, and conference participation. Space is limited to preserve the relational nature of the trip.
