Alexander Masunda – Zimbabwe

While growing up in a Catholic family, attending church was a normal part of life. At the age of 14, Alexander decided to personally give his life to Christ. He was baptized and started serving at a church in Zimbabwe. Since then, Alexander says he has seen God consistently throughout his life, and that despite hard times, God has been with him. Alexander first joined Young Life as a volunteer leader after being invited to a Young Life club. He then felt called to join Young Life’s ministry team. He is passionate about serving teenagers and introducing them to Christ; he says that through Young Life, he has felt his calling being revived. Alexander currently serves as area director in Chitungwiza, one of the largest and most religious areas in Zimbabwe.
