Anne Kamwanga – Kenya

Area Director

Anne “Princess” grew up attending church on Sundays. Her dad encouraged their family to sit down afterwards, to share what they had learned, and to pray together. Because of this, Anne heard about God and processed His love for her. In high school, Anne was involved in a theater group where two friends shared about Young Life. They invited her to check it out. She hesitated at first but once she got there, she knew she was in the right place. After seeing how comfortable the teens were with sharing about God, she knew she wanted to become a leader. She grew a passion for being with, understanding, and listening to teenagers. Today, Anne is an area director who oversees six neighborhood clubs and one high school ministry in the Eastlands area of Kenya.
