Bariki Omari – Zanzibar

Area Director

Bariki met the Lord through Young Life in 2007 while he was playing soccer at the same place that the Young Life staff was doing training. After some conversations, they invited him to Young Life club. Since then, Bariki has passionately pursued kids, directed clubs, and now serves as an area director and directs a team of volunteer leaders who love kids with Christlike relentlessness. Young Life requires dedicated, God-fearing staff and volunteers to do the job of reaching teens and introducing them to Jesus. Bariki Omari is one of those staff that works tirelessly to ensure that the kids of Zanzibar hear the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
