Operations Coordinator

Chim gave her life to Christ at the age of 16 at a Christian youth conference that her brother invited her to. A day later, their mother died. Chim realized that all she had was Jesus and understood what it meant to be adopted by God. She learned about Young Life Malawi through Lusayo Mhango who would become her husband. Chim became a volunteer leader while Lusayo built and grew the ministry in Blantyre. In December 2013, Lusayo was tragically killed in an automobile accident. Chim has been courageous and strong as she has modeled walking by faith and not by sight. She became the Young Life Malawi Administrator and Logistics Coordinator and helped pioneer that role for all of Africa. She handled planning, logistics and organization of ministry in Malawi. Chim now serves as Operations Coordinator of Africa South.
