José António Tayob – Mozambique

Area Director

José is a patient, persistent and committed Young Life leader. He accepted Jesus in 2010 at a Young Life club. Before attending Young Life, José was focused on the works of being a Christian – attending church, reading Scripture and even attending regular Bible studies – but his heart was still hardened to Jesus. One night in Young Life club, the speaker’s message touched his heart unlike ever before, and that day he accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. José stayed involved in Young Life, and began to serve as a leader. After that, he started club in a new area and in 2015 became a DGL student. He then moved to Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique, and currently serves as area director there.
