Joseph Mkala Nyambu – Kenya

Logistics Coordinator

Mkala grew up in Mombasa with two sisters and his parents, who were farmers. His life was transformed when he came to know Jesus through Young Life. After being a club kid, going to camp and growing in his faith through Campaigners, Mkala became a volunteer leader and enjoyed mentoring teen boys in his small group. He was able to complete his degree in education through Young Life’s Developing Global Leaders, a program for select high school graduates to obtain a university education while serving as a volunteer leader. After graduation, he became a high school teacher, continuing to influence the next generation for Christ. Now, Mkala serves as Logistics Coordinator for Young Life Kenya.
