Matilda Kiumba – Kenya

Matilda first met Jesus in 2002 at a Christian Crusade. It was here that God opened her eyes to the beauty of His love for her. Two years later, her friend, Papa Deodetus Kyara, told Matilda about Young Life while she was attending another Christian Crusade. Ever since learning about it, Matilda has been deeply involved. Today, she serves as regional director of the Kenya Coast region and is a member of the Senior Africa Leadership Team (SALT) for Young Life Africa. Matilda continuously thanks God for the ways He uses her to show His love to teenagers across her region.
