Operations Coordinator

Stephen grew up in a Christian home but never experienced Jesus until he attended Young Life camp. His journey with Young Life began two years earlier when Stephen met Martin Wamalwa, who came by his neighborhood often to hang out with teens. After getting to know Stephen and his friends, Martin invited them to a Young Life club. While there, Stephen thought it was strange that adults were passionate about kids who did not seem to fit in. However, Stephen had never felt more loved or accepted. Later that year, Stephen attended Young Life camp with his friends where he started a personal relationship with Jesus. Since then, Stephen has devoted his life to running towards Jesus any way he can. He has been a DGL student, a volunteer leader, and today serves as the operations coordinator for Young Life Africa East.
