Our African staff and leaders are on the front lines in countries where there is opposition to sharing the Gospel.  Please pray for their physical safety and that of their families.  For courage and not fear.

Political and economic stability

Many of the countries where we do ministry are experiencing political unrest and economic challenges.  Pray for unity in Kenya after recent elections and a peaceful transition of power in Liberia and Zimbabwe.

Drought/famine

Please pray for rain in countries experiencing drought and famine (parts of South Africa, Horn of Africa, Kenya). And also for just enough rain to prevent flooding in many areas (Kenya, Tanzania).

Ebola Outbreak

Please pray for a quick containment to the Ebola outbreak in the northwest part of Democratic Republic of Congo and comfort for those who have lost family members and friends to the disease.  For wisdom, courage and safety for health care workers and Young Life leaders in that area.
