Eswatini

We are celebrating the more than 43 ministries and more than 200 volunteer leaders we have in our Young Life Eswatini mission. We are thankful for what the Lord has done and we pray for revival and reaching teenagers with the gospel. Pray for discernment and wisdom for our leadership team as they make decisions on how to move the ministry forward.

We are praying for our DGL student Albert who lost his mother; we pray God will comfort him and his family. We are also praying for our ministry among the unreached people group called the Batwa community, we pray that God will open the door for us to reach them with the gospel.

DRC

We are praying for the new clubs that are developing in Kinshasa, North Kivu, South Kivu, and Lubumbashi, particularly for the start of Capernaum and YoungLives ministry in these areas. We pray that God will be with Benjamin, a volunteer leader from Goma, whose mother passed away, and his family.

South Africa

We are praying for wisdom as we are reshaping our internal ministry structures so that we can serve one another well. As we pray for these changes we are asking God to give our leaders a deeper connection to the Holy Spirit. We are also praying for the improved health of our leaders Pierre and Rentia.

Ethiopia

We are praying for the new ministry in Hargessa to experience steady growth and thrive and for the expansion and progress of the ministry in the Gambella region and Asebe Teferi, located 350 kilometers from Addis Ababa. Together let us intercede for the leaders and ministry stability in Bahir Dar and Gonder, especially during this period of political unrest. We also pray for the successful implementation of VOLTS (Volunteer Leadership Training and Sending) across the country to attract more dedicated volunteer leaders and enable outreach to more villages and towns. Finally, let’s pray for the establishment and expansion of Teen Mom, Capernaum, and College ministries in various parts of the country, so that they may positively impact the lives of young people.

Kenya

We are praying for continued ministry development and growth in the Western, Central, and Coastal Kenya regions. We are also praying for the successful implementation of the VOLTS initiative, with a specific emphasis on recruiting and retaining well-trained leaders. Let us pray for the continued spiritual growth of all Campaigners in their journey with Jesus, and for volunteer leaders to find peace of mind and heart and maintain their joyful commitment to serving. Pray with us as we also seek more prayer partners and supporters to join us in our ministry efforts.
