Emmanuel’s Story

Emmanuel is a young Ghanaian who lives in Habika, Accra City. His father is a native doctor and because of his traditional beliefs, he forbade his children from ever being a part of any religious group. His father’s command and position as a native doctor affected Emmanuel in many ways, and his life was in total disarray. Emmanuel met Sarah, a Young Life leader in Ghana. The meeting changed Emmanuel’s life. As Sarah got to know him, she prayed for him and encouraged him to come to club. That conversation led him to the opportunity to accept Jesus as his Lord and personal Savior!

Emmanuel is a soccer player and had always prayed to have the opportunity to play professionally. Emmanuel was selected amongst hundreds of talented players to represent Ghana under the national team at a tournament that was held in Cote d’Ivoire in 2022. Emmanuel’s decided to let Emmanuel choose whom he wants to serve. Pray that his father realizes that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and we pray that he accepts Christ too. Glory to God for the transformation in Emmanuel’s life and also for Sarah’s tireless effort!
