Connecting And Building: Patricia-Mozambique

Since 2010, Young Life in Mozambique has been transforming the lives of young people up and down the stretch of this 1500-mile-long country on Africa’s eastern shore. In 2009, Patricia, a leader who is making a great impact, first heard the Word of God but didn’t take it to heart. She struggled to believe that the love of God she was hearing about was real. However, as she continued going to church and learn more, she decided to commit her life to Christ. She joined the praise team at her church, where she met her boyfriend, who was the first person to invite her to Young Life. That interaction went so well that she married him and works for Young Life! She is part of the current class of the Developing Global Leaders program, a leadership training program for Young Life leaders.
