WyldLife Camp

This day camp in Gwanda, Zimbabwe hosted 135 “Campaigners” kids. These middle schoolers are Young Life veterans who have already decided to give their lives to Christ, and are now consistently attending weekly Bible studies and following up with leaders. This day camp was put on to celebrate them, encourage them and challenge them in their faith. Of the 135 students, 85 were female. Hazel was one of these young girls to attend the Campaigners camp. She is only 12 years old, and has memorized seven chapters of John since beginning Bible study with WyldLife in November. At camp she challenged kids and leaders alike to do the same.

Hazel does not come from a Christian family, but attends church with her WyldLife leader Melissa. She prays that one day her whole family will also choose to follow Christ. We are so thankful for these middle schoolers who live as bright lights for Jesus, and the ways they continue to challenge us in our faith!
