Alex is an area director in southern Uganda. As a teenager, Alex was addicted to drugs. When his leader, Augustine, invited him to Young Life camp, Alex learned about Jesus in a whole new way. While at camp, Alex accepted Jesus as his Savior. Augustine saw great leadership potential in Alex and spent time mentoring him and teaching him to lead others. Alex is now a man of influence in God’s Kingdom and is grateful for the opportunities he has been afforded through Young Life. He is a faithful leader committed to praying with the leaders in his care for the Holy Spirit to guide them in their ministry.
