A close friend of Collins’ mentioned a camp he was going to and asked Collins to join him. Collins didn’t know what to expect, but once he was there, he felt at home. It was at that Young Life camp that Collins first heard the gospel in a way that felt deeply personal to him. Before that weekend, he felt lost and unsure of his purpose, but Collins left changed. He knew he wanted to share the good news with others, and was motivated to lead. Today Collins is an area director for the Island-Kenya coast region where he oversees three high school clubs, three WyldLife clubs, and five neighborhood clubs.
