Growing up, Jimmy didn’t like going to church. He loved hanging with a bad crowd which led to conflict with his parents. James Amuriat, a Young Life leader, invited him to Young Life club in 2007. Jimmy first heard about Jesus, planting the seed that grew to him starting a relationship with Jesus at Young Life camp later that year. When Jimmy got home, he began going to campaigners, the local Young Life Bible Study, and he learned more about who Jesus is. He continued to grow until he became an obedient and committed Young Life leader himself. He finds so much joy in serving teenagers and leading them to Christ.
