Martin Mkilima

Martin began his journey with Jesus through a life-changing conversation sparked by a friend and Young Life leader. Though he had grown up attending church, it was during that encounter that he made a personal decision to follow Christ. He soon joined regular Bible studies, and because of his friend, Martin desired to become a leader as well. With a passion for youth, he found in Young Life a meaningful avenue to impact lives through Christ’s love. Today, Martin serves as an area director in Tanzania, overseeing 12 ministries and leading efforts to bring lasting transformation to young people through the gospel.
