Born into a Christian family, Patrick was rebellious and left faith and family at age 12, choosing independence over parental guidance. His life was in disarray until he met Benga Florent, a Young Life leader who spoke truth to Patrick, when Patrick was 20 years old. Benga’s love and mentorship led him back to Jesus Christ. Patrick became more involved with Young Life when a leader encouraged him to start a club in his area. He expanded his leadership to three other cities in DRC. Patrick now lives in Kalemie, where he has established five clubs in the last two years. His mission is to continue growing the ministry and changing the lives of more teens.
