YoungLives Director

Yalembeza met Moges Berassa, while in grade school. When Moges invited her to a Young Life camp, she loved everything about it, from the music, games, and new people from different cities, to the smiles and compassion of leaders. When she heard the speaker talk about the love of Jesus, she decided to say yes to Him. This decision changed her life, and lit a desire inside of her to share the gospel with those around her. Yalembeza volunteered for eight years, then came on staff. As a YoungLives Director, she supervises five active YoungLives ministries with 10 mentors and 15 prayer partners. She holds regular prayer and Bible studies with her mentors, volunteers, and prayer partners. Her vision is to develop more volunteers to reach out to the next kid and the next community.
