Zengo grew up in a Christian home and was baptized at age 15. A renewed commitment to his faith at 25 led him to connect with Jerome Byamungu, a local Young Life staff member, who invited him to a leadership training in Kinshasa. Inspired by the experience, Zengo launched Young Life in his community. He now serves in Ngaliema, where he oversees 17 ministries and 117 leaders. Passionate about sharing the gospel, Zengo is also expanding ministry efforts into South Ubango and Kongo Central.
