Joseph is a 16-year-old who is an orphan and lives with his paternal uncle in Lagos, Nigeria. Joseph’s desire was to own a Bible, he saved for more than five months to buy his own copy. Benedict, his Young Life leader, realized that Joseph really needed one, and was able to give him one for free! Now Joseph was able to use that saved money to purchase school items and other necessary things. He is grateful to the donors that made it possible and for making his dream a reality. He can now read the Bible as often as he wishes.
