Lagos Outreach Camp

Young Life camp is a place filled with joy, friendship and the love of God. In April, 168 kids got to experience an incredible Young Life camp in Nigeria. By the end of the weekend, 103 campers committed their lives to Christ. One of the campers that gave her life to Jesus is named Aretta. Here is her story:

Aretta lives in a Muslim household and has been a regular attender at club in Lagos. At the Lagos Outreach Camp, Aretta had a radical encounter with Jesus. During the silent night, the Holy Spirit came upon her and she started speaking in tongues. After the encounter with the Holy Spirit, she willingly accepted Jesus into her life.

Aretta’s story is evidence of God’s presence and ability to change lives! We pray that the Holy Spirit will use her to be the light for many other kids who are still in the darkness.
