Faith’s Camp Trip-Tanzania

Faith is one of many kids who came to camp this summer in Tanzania. She grew up an only child, living with just her mother. Before she ever knew him, her father left Faith’s family to be with another woman. She always wanted to meet her father but there was never a way to find him. One day, Faith was asking her mom about her father, and she became curious. Her mother told her to pray that God would provide a way to meet him. So she prayed, but she was not convinced it would ever happen. This changed when her mother visited her at school with someone she did not recognize, and then a light switched in her head. God answered her prayer and Faith was finally reunited with her father that day. This answered prayer strengthened her faith and we are so thankful she continues to grow in her faith at Young Life.
