Growing Together-Uganda

YoungLives mentors in Uganda took part in a three-day training session, led by Jennifer Akurut and Eunice Nalunkuma, to enhance their skills in managing YoungLives clubs. The fact that 28 mentors from various parts of Eastern Uganda came together for this training reflects a strong commitment to the YoungLives ministry.

Mentors who were teen mothers themselves, and who had gone through Campaigners sessions and leadership development also attended. They are a testament to the transformative power of the YoungLives mission in Uganda. They were empowered to lead and guide their peers in their respective neighborhoods, not only in spreading the message of Jesus but also in fostering a sense of community and support among the teen moms. By continuing to invest in the training and development of mentors, YoungLives can greatly contribute to the personal and spiritual growth of more teen moms in Uganda.
