Rwanda Outreach Camp 2

July 30 – August 1, 2019

At a recent outreach camp in Rwanda, 344 kids gathered to hear the greatest story ever told; the story of Jesus. Many campers were taken care of and were allowed to have fun for the first time in years. Below is a testimony from a 16-year-old camper. 

“As I grew up I always wondered what it would be like to live among people who truly loved me. I didn’t receive a lot of love because my family did not have much at home. My mom was always running up and down trying to make a living for me and my brothers. She knew she was all we had. Growing up on the streets of Kigali made me go astray sometimes. I have always felt ashamed of the sins in my past life and I didn’t have any hope for tomorrow. I didn’t think I could ever be accepted by God. At camp I have been taught about forgiveness and the unconditional love that God has for all of us. I have learned that it is never too late. I have given my life to Christ and now I will tell this good news of forgiveness and God’s love.” – Habimana

Praise God. Habimana is just one of the 256 kids who gave their life to Christ. What a true victory! We invite you to join us in praying for these campers. Please pray that they would continue to be overwhelmed by the unconditional love of God. Also, we pray that their leaders would have supernatural energy and strength to lead them as Jesus would.
