Join an exclusive cohort of college students for a high-impact month of ministry and exploration. You will serve as Summer Staff, assisting local leaders, participating in campaigners, running a club, and experiencing a safari adventure, balancing deep purpose with the continent’s most iconic adventures.

Trip Overview

Designed for college students ready for a high-impact summer, you will serve alongside students in Zimbabwe who are actively leading the Young Life College movement on their own campuses. From the streets of Harare to regional camps, you’ll be fully immersed, running high-energy clubs, leading games, and facilitating life-changing gospel conversations.
The mission is only half the story. After we serve, we’ll transition into a safari adventure featuring an evening cruise down the Zambezi River and game drives through the iconic landscape of Victoria Falls. This is a space for deep spiritual development, celebrating ministry wins and the wonders of the continent together.

Itinerary

July 11–31, 2026

JULY 14–15

Team Launch & Travel

Flight to Johannesburg, introduction night and team building dinner at the hotel

JULY 16–17

Arrival in Harare

Fly to Zimbabwe to meet local staff and leaders for dinner. Explore Harare and participate in ministry events.

JULY 18–19

Serve at Camp

Prep and serve at camp alongside local leaders. Facilitate program, skits, serve meals, and sit in on gospel-centered cabin times.

JULY 20–22

Local Service Project

Transition to a local city for a collaborative service project, engaging with the community and local students.

JULY 23–26

Serve at Camp

Serve at a second camp. Facilitate program, skits, serve meals, and sit in on gospel-centered cabin times.

JULY 27–29

Safari & Victoria Falls

Zambezi River cruise, Victoria Falls tour, and a full-day safari game drive. Space for team debrief and reflection.

JULY 30–31

Journey Home

Depart from Victoria Falls for the US, arriving on July 31st to share the story with your community.
