Before meeting Jesus, Betty carried a lot of darkness and felt like her life was quite useless. She first heard about Young Life from a teacher at her school who was a Young Life leader and also attended the same church as she did. In 2014, he invited Betty to camp where she gave her life to Jesus. Jesus invaded her darkness with His light. When she got home, Betty continued to chase after the life-changing light of Jesus. Today, she embraces Jesus’ light by passionately leading four ministries where she serves as an area director in Eastern Uganda.
