Nestor got to know Jesus through his elder sister, the only Christian in their family. He was curious to know this Jesus she loved talking about at home. Nestor followed her to church and encountered Jesus that day in 2000. Nestor has been faithful in his walk with Jesus since he decided to follow Christ. Nestor, a courageous, faithful, and curious young man, heard about Young Life after a woman from his church introduced Young Life to the pastor. With Nestor’s passion to serve young people and the love he has for them, his pastor recommended he become a leader and Nestor accepted without hesitation. Today, Nestor is an area director in Sikasso, a city in the south of Mali.
