Perseverance gave his life to Christ in 2009 after a youth event helped him understand that salvation is personal. In 2014, he was introduced to Young Life by Mandlenkosi Power Ndlovu and began volunteering as a club leader. Through the Developing Global Leaders (DGL) scholarship for Young Life leaders, he earned a degree in applied media and performance studies from the University of Zimbabwe in 2020. He now serves as the national college ministry coordinator for Young Life University in Zimbabwe. Under his leadership, Young Life has grown to 14 universities across the country, with plans to expand to 13 more. His vision is for more leaders and staff to support this growing mission.
