Banji Simasiku – Zambia

Area Director

Banji was introduced to Jesus after a friend taught her and her sister the gospel, and then they prayed together. Soon after, she met Steve Larmey, who invited her to come on Young Life staff. A few months later, she attended a Young Life staff training, learned more about the mission of Young Life, and was absolutely hooked. Now she is an area director and she leads ten ministries in Ndola, Zambia, where around 150 kids learn about Jesus in a safe place every single week. With only 65 consistent leaders, it is still a challenge for Banji to run this ministry.
