What Is a Young Life Expedition?
Young Life Africa and the Middle East Expeditions exist to invite people into the movement of God on the continent.
Our mission is to facilitate “Come and See” experiences that connect the global Young Life community through service, relationship, and spiritual development.
Authentic Connection
Interact directly with local Young Life clubs, share meals with and serve alongside volunteer leaders and staff.
Expert Local Guides
Dedicated local staff accompany your entire journey, making every step safer, smarter, and more meaningful.
Family-Friendly Itineraries
Thoughtfully crafted travel schedules designed to accommodate and engage children of all ages.
Bucket-List Extensions
Customize your trip with optional add-on adventures like an African safari, Victoria Falls, or Zanzibar.
“Throughout the expedition my spirit was infused with encouragement, joy, celebration, and rich fellowship with precious Young Life staff. Working, living, singing, and dancing alongside them as we served their kids and celebrated God’s incredible creation together!
Seeing the hand of God direct our lives over these many years of involvement with YL Africa is such a blessing. It brings Christ more into the forefront, and to see that transformation continue in my own life—and to share it with others—is a life-giving, life-altering privilege!”
