Florence Essumama Nhyiraba – Ghana

Divisional Operations Director

Florence decided to follow Christ during a church revival in Ghana. Her journey with Young Life began in 2021 when her husband invited her to an outreach camp, where she was inspired by the Christ-centered community and radical hospitality toward young people. After training and serving as a volunteer leader, she joined staff full-time in 2023 as the operations coordinator for the Africa West Geography. She came with nearly 15 years of experience as an external auditor with KPMG prior. She now serves as the divisional operations director for the Africa West division, where she provides operational leadership, coordinating strategic initiatives and supporting country teams.
