Kombo Mdegela – Tanzania

Associate Regional Director

Kombo has been involved with Young Life since 2010, and now serves as area director for the Iringa region of Tanzania. He first met the Lord in 1996, when he joined the youth choir at his church. Knowing Christ at a young age meant that Kombo wanted other young people to know Him too. After meeting “Mama Eda,” founder of Young Life in Iringa, Kombo developed a passion for Young Life. He now supervises Young Life in this agricultural region and its surrounding towns of Mbeya and Ruvuma. Kombo is polite towards all and full of love – a love that is for Christ and from Christ. We are so thankful that the Lord brought Kombo to Young Life and is using his gifts to draw kids closer to Him!
