Koné Ramata Goïta

Koné made the courageous decision to surrender her life to Jesus at age 15. It answered a deep need for belonging that Islam had not fulfilled for her.  Deborah Samaké invited her to a Young Life event, where she was drawn in by the authentic joy and genuine relationships. That experience inspired her to join the mission of reaching adolescents with the gospel.

She meets young people where they are—in their schools and neighborhoods—and builds friendships that earn trust and opens doors to meaningful conversations about faith, meeting young people in their schools and neighborhoods to win the right to be heard. She creates a welcoming environment where every teenager can explore faith at their own pace while hearing the hope of the gospel. She currently serves as an Area Director in Mali.
