Lindy Gumbo – Zimbabwe

Lindy was raised in a Christian family that was actively involved in church. When she was 16 years old, she accepted Jesus at her church, which was the beginning of her personal journey with Christ. In 2017, her friend Sitha invited her to be a YoungLives mentor, knowing that Lindy had a passion for teenage mothers. She started volunteering as a YoungLives leader, and she has been involved since that day. Lindy now directs YoungLives in the Matebeland South province, specifically the city of Gwanda.
