Roland Harris – Liberia

Area Director

When Roland was young, he became very ill and asked the Lord to heal him. By a miracle, he recovered and he believed the power of Jesus healed him and surrendered his life to Christ. While he was in high school, a Young Life leader invited him to a Young Life club. He loved it, and he joined the ministry then. After high school, Paul Kangar on Liberian Young Life staff, encouraged Roland to join the ministry and he has never looked back. Today Roland is an area director in Kakata, a small city that connects rural Liberia to the urban city of Monrovia.
