Area Director

As a baby, Tewodros (Teddy) grew up in a broken home. His parents separated; later, his dad left to find work, so his sister raised him. He attended church, but never understood the teachings and only became a Christian out of fear. His sister made him attend a new believer’s class at their church with her for months. One Sunday, however, the teaching touched his heart. Teddy began to understand God’s love and prayed to start a personal relationship with Him. Teddy’s friend from church told him about Young Life and invited him to their Campaigners meeting. He was amazed by how the leaders welcomed each kid with love and value, and wanted to know how to become a leader. Teddy is now an area director for three areas in Ethiopia with over 50 teens attending each and still growing.
