William Okia – Uganda

Associate Regional Director

William met the Lord in 2005 at a Young Life camp as a teenager. During the club talks, he heard his leader, Simon, share about the love God has for mankind. After learning that he was a sinner, William looked to Jesus to be the savior he needed. As William grew older and spent more time with his leaders, he felt convicted to give back to the young people around him. Today, William is an associate regional director in eastern Uganda. His hospitality not only invites teenagers into a loving community, but gives his leaders the same sense of belonging he saw years earlier.
