Yancy Dixon – Liberia

Area Director

Yancy got involved with Young Life in 2007 as a club kid in the William V. Tubman High School club in Liberia. In 2008, he accepted Christ at a Young Life outreach camp. Before accepting Christ, Yancy describes himself as unkind and disrespectful. Christ’s redeeming love met him and since then, he has dedicated his life to Christ. After this transformation, Yancy began serving as a volunteer leader. He then became the first DGL graduate to become an area director. He served as area director in Kakata, Margibi County and then transferred to Montserrado County where he was serving as area director for Bushrod Island Area and also headed up their college ministry. He now works as a training associate to equip other leaders to live out their mission and call.
