Country leaders identify Young Life leaders and staff whom they believe could rise up to be powerful and pivotal leaders in their communities. These leaders are selected with the hope to either go on to lead as staff people with Young Life or to find purpose in leading in other areas. Each young leader will go to our Training Center in Tanzania. For the next few weeks, Senior African leaders train the RIKA group in worship, club music, club talks, campaigners and prayer. After RIKA, leaders are empowered, confidence is built, and the Lord is glorified as they return home to their countries, full of the Spirit and excitement to reach kids with the gospel of Christ.
