Nigeria Girls Camp

March 16, 2019

Nigeria recently held its first ever girls camp! 68 girls were able to experience camp for the first time. The leaders of the 68 girls are praising God that the message of Jesus was so well received. In fact, 45 girls committed to following Jesus with their whole lives. Chains were broken and lives were changed.

Many of these girls came from broken homes and broken families. One 16-year-old girl came from one of the newest areas of ministry in Nigeria. She came hopeless. Since the death of her father she had been sexually abused by her step-father. At camp she was able to open up to her leader about this for the first time. Her leader was able to bear the burden with her and together they found hope and began the process of healing and forgiveness. This same camper left camp saying, “Teenage pregnancy has denied so many girls of completing their education so today I take a stand to teach sex education”.

We thank God for the lives that were changed at this day camp in Nigeria. Would you join us in praying that the joy of salvation for each camper would continue to be just as powerful back home as it was at camp? We also pray for the spirit of wisdom and revelation for their leaders!
