Area Director

Kavira began her relationship with Jesus Christ in 2010 after an outreach event at a local church in Bukavu. She was baptized and started her new life with Jesus. In 2012 she was invited to a Young Life leadership training and she became a volunteer leader. Today, Kavira is an area director in the North Kivu province, specifically in the city of Goma. In recent history, Goma has been heavily impacted by rebel insurgencies and eruptions from the active Nyiragongo Volcano. Kavira continues to share the gospel in Goma with love and joy, even when the circumstances are challenging and dangerous.
