Leah Mumbi Muhoho* – Kenya

Area Director

Leah grew up in a Christian family who attended Sunday School every week. She began her relationship with Jesus early in life, and by the time she was a teenager, she was a spiritual leader to her peers. She led her classmates in prayers and songs during assemblies and later taught Sunday school. While attending a junior music festival held by her church, Leah met George Kamau, Area Director in Ruiru. George told Leah about Young Life’s mission and shared his passion for teaching you people about Jesus. Leah began attending Ruiru Young Life meetings which eventually inspired her to become a volunteer leader. She now does ministry in Machakos County, Kenya, and is known as a humble servant leader who cares deeply for others.
