Monica Demese – Ethiopia

Area Director

Young Life in Ethiopia is huge – second only to the United States in number of kids reached. In order to continue growing, Young Life relies on faithful servants to join staff and continue leading kids to Jesus. Monica Demese is new to Young Life staff and is one of those faithful. While she is quiet upon initial meeting, her bubbly laugh and joyful personality instantly win everyone over. Monica grew up in a Christian home and met the Lord through the love and faithfulness of her family members. She worked as a volunteer leader for many years after her area director encouraged her to join Young Life, and today Monica is now an area director in Ambo town in central Ethiopia.
