Having grown up in the church, Queen first heard about Jesus in Sunday school when she was young. However, it wasn’t until high school when she truly surrendered her life to Him. Because she already knew Jesus when joining Young Life, Queen’s leader encouraged her to lead her own peers and classmates alongside the other leaders. After graduating high school, Queen became a DGL student in college where she continued to lead. Today, Queen always makes it a point to be consistent with the teenagers she knows in hopes that they would continue to grow in their faith.
